We have been providing a quality SPAM Filter since October 2007; however, fighting SPAM is not an easy task when it comes to ensuring you do not falsely identify legitimate mail as junk.
We have put many strict rules in our SPAM filtering service which have had a quality effect, and so far have blocked over 7.5 Million SPAM mails since we launched the service.
Although we are blocking many mails successfully, to improve the detection rate and increase the quality of the SPAM Filter we have now begun a trial with www.spamhaus.org. SpamHaus keep excellent records of known addresses that send out SPAM mail as well as many virus infected machines which form part of a botnet dedicated to sending out SPAM mail etc.
We will closely monitor the success of this trial and should it prove successful will begin a subscription with them immediately.
