We provide services to organisations of almost any size, from single person startups to medium businesses with over 100 employees. We have designed and created advanced functionality websites, whereby many of our clients run the majority of their business operations through.
Our hosting services are designed with perfection in mind; we know how important your website image is, and as such we have multiple systems in place to ensure that there is zero downtime, and that should any problem occur, we're pro-actively notified so that we can resolve any problems before they become customer affecting. Company History of Cluster Internet
2010-2011
From the start of 2010 we completed various web applications that had been in development since late 2009. We spent considerable time evaluating the software structure and database platforms that we utilise to ensure we provided the very best. Taking on additional staff in both 2010 and 2011, we are able to progress both our technical development as well as our graphic design skills.
We continued to invest into our hosting platform, further expanding into the 'cloud computing' methodology of hosting.
2009
Throughout 2009 we have continued to grow, taking on more staff and more complex large scale projects as time goes on. With an ever growing quality portfolio combined with word of mouth, it is becoming easier for potential clients to see what we can do for them and how we can really improve not only their website, but their other marketing material too. Throughout 2009 we undertook some major web application development which rapdily progressed into a wider range of products that we provide.
We also made some big decisions in 2009 which changed the way our hosting platform works. We work very closely with Burstfire, and after considering all the alternatives we decided to move our network management to them. Burstfire's network is high quality, resilient and fast, made up of carrier grade hardware. We restructured our network to build a new highly redundant firewall system to enable us to provide a much more secure hosting environment. We also purchased new hosting hardware, which meant we took much more advantage of virtualisation and are able to provide a truly exceptional hosting platform.
2008
Our increasing reputation meant that we grew quickly in 2008. We were able to purchase additional and update existing hardware, and we used more designers and developers to allow us to turn sites around quicker than ever before, producing exceptional quality still at a great price.
2007
Needing to meet the demands of our growing client database, 2007 saw our main director, Ben Waters, move into Cluster full time. This meant that Cluster took on a whole range of new services including introducing 24/7 cover, which allowed us to provide a more dedicated service to our existing hosting customers. As the internet was changing many of our clients wanted to refresh their existing websites so Cluster kept up with the need and we began to design and create cheap but professional websites. Word of mouth was good to us again and we continued to expand by focusing on local businesses.
2006
2006 was a big year for us as we incorporated from CSys to Cluster Internet Ltd. We continued to go from strength to strength and secured an investment that allowed us to buy new hardware, which took our hosting and network to a new level - it meant we were in control of our internet traffic and could also provide a failover solution for our hosting platform.
2002 to 2005
After seeing the need for affordable yet reliable hosting CSys was established, initially providing hosting to friends and family. Our high quality service allowed word of mouth to spread and soon from our original concept of providing a little web space for friends/family we grew to establishing a hosting platform capable of hosting websites for businesses. Our popularity continued and by gaining new clients we added additional servers and moved into our co-located rack space in a highly desirable data centre in London. We then grew further by being able to incorporate several clients who wanted to co-locate securely alongside us.
